Sabish Orchestra
Sabish Middle School in Fond du Lac, WI offers every 6th-8th grade student the opportunity to play in Orchestra, no experience necessary. We have an Orchestra for every grade level as well as opportunities to play in Atypical Honors and an Orchestra buddy program with the elementary schools. The Sabish Orchestra has 3 concerts throughout the school year; Winter Concert, Orchestra Festival, and Spring Concert. We combine all 3 middle schools and STEM Academy together at our concerts.
Atypical Strings
Sabish Atypical Strings will meet virtually on Wednesdays this year, beginning in October. We play all styles of music including Folk, Irish, Rock, and Latin. Atypical Strings is open to any student in Orchestra. In the past this group has performed before orchestra concerts, and at the Middle Level Music Festival, we will look into alternative performance options for this school year.

Meet Mrs. Hart
Mrs. Samantha Hart graduated from University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2010 where she received her bachelors degree in Music Education: Instrumental and General Emphasis. She was an active member in the University Symphonic and Wind Ensemble playing Flute and Bassoon.
Mrs. Hart moved to Phoenix, AZ where she taught 7-8th grade Band and Orchestra for 5 years at Palo Verde Middle School. She played viola in the community Orchestra, directed the districts Middle School Honors Band, and sent many of her students to the state level honors groups. She moved back to Wisconsin in 2015 and started teaching in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Hart has been the Middle School Orchestra Director at Sabish and Woodworth ever since.
